We loved our lunch at Swiftwater yesterday. We ordered the crab cakes and two half and half fry baskets (half shrimp and half halibut). The shrimp was the best part and we both wished we had ordered more of it! The fries were very similar to McDonald's, which is high praise in my opinion. The perfect mix of soft, crunchy and salty. The Patio overlooking the harbor was the best spot in Whittier!

Huge fan of the atmosphere. The walk over and the view from outside was so peaceful. And for needed humor there was a bird begging for a fry which a tourist definitely gave him That fried fish so worth it. I love whittier. And this is now my must go to for lunch after my hike. And the lemonade was lovely. Friendly staff. Very clean. They do have a restroom inside. Plenty of seating. In all an enjoyable lunch

Went here over a year ago while on a vacation, still think about these crab legs to this day. So delicious. Comfortable environment. Great spot to go with family. If I ever find myself in Whittier again, this will be my first stop!

One of the best Halibut and chips. Please try if you explore this area. Quite busy at lunch time. No problem if you are not in a hurry, because you can enjoy the beautiful scenery behind the restaurant area. Recommended for all families. Thank you for beautiful lady who served all the customers with lovely smile. Will come back again.

We ate at the Swiftwater Cafe in Whittier in May of 2024. The food was really good. I enjoyed the clam chowder. We were there on May 9th and it was cold and spitting snow. The views in Whittier are unreal! BEAUTIFUL area!!

We got there around 6 pm on Tuesday. There were people dining but it wasn’t really busy. I loved my halibut sandwich. My husband who doesn’t eat seafood enjoyed his chicken strips and fries. I’ll definitely go back when I visit Whittier next time.
